NTSE


    


BASE can help your child excel in NTSE & NMMS to be held in November 2010. Students(State, CBSE & ICSE) can enrol for this training.

Classroom Interaction
Training imparted by our highly competent faculty will strengthen the

fundamentals, focus on concept clarity, refine problem solving ability and enhance competency and performance levels of our students. About 100 hours of classroom interaction is slated, to ensure comprehensive preparation towards both the Mental Ability Test and the Scholastic Aptitude Test.

Components of CLassroom Training Program
Printed Courseware
The printed courseware has been designed to cover the related topics with excellent synopses followed by adequate worked examples and practice exercises. These are provided in 8 modules (2 modules in each group) as follows:

  • Physics, Chemistry and Biology
  • Mathematics
  • History, Civics, Geography
  • Mental Abilities

Electronic Courseware
For all the exercises given in the modules, audio-visual solutions are provided through our website. The student can refer to these to understand the approach in solving questions. Doubt clarifications are enabled through electronic help desk. A unique user ID and password will be provided for the purpose.

Schedule
Program starts : April/May 2010
Sessions:
During 12th April 2010 to 1st May 2010 or 3rd May 2010 to 22nd May 2010          -   18 days, 3 hours a day
During June-October 2010      -   2 weekdays, 2 hours a day
Schedule coulld vary across centres.

Assessment
4 tests on the lines of NTSE 2010 will be conducted.

  • First test             -    portions of module 1 (July/August 2010)
  • Second test        -    portions of module 2 (Sep/Oct 2010)
  • 2 practice tests  -     full portions on NTSE pattern (Oct/Nov 2010)
