So, while board exams are important, you also need to start working for the future career.
What Do Competitive Exams Measure
The various entrance examinations like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, CET, AIPMT... measure conceptual understanding of core sciences and mathematics. This calls for conceptual clarity of core subjects and problem solving abilities across applications.
Foundation SnT
Enabling Conceptual Clarity & Problem Solving Abilities
Foundation SnT at BASE is a 2 year value and program for student of Class IX and X. It supports the regular studies of the students by imparting additional inputs in core subjects. This is an essential foundation for students to prepare systematically for and be successful in competitive exams like IIT-JEE, AIEEE, AIPMT, CET, Olympiads, etc., The program inculcates analytical thinking habits and brings home the important of innovation in problem solving.
Course Components of Classroom Program
Course Content
Subjects taught include Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Mathematics and Mental Abilities. The course on Mental Abilities helps in improving thinking agility and enhances learning capability in other subjects, In addition, relevant techniques from vedic mathematics and speed mathematics are introduced. The curriculum has been designed considering the syllabi of Karnataka State Board, ICSE and CBSE
Printed Courseware
Printed courseware is provided for all subjects and covers related topics along with adequate worked examples and practice exercises.
Electronic Courseware
For all the exercises in the modules and tests that are conducted, audio-visual solutions are provided through our website. The student can refer to these to understand the approach in answering questions. Clarifications for doubts are enabled through electronic help desk.
Classroom Sessions
Each Classroom session is planned to be interactive and is supported by multimedia presentations. Training will be imparted by our hight trained faculty members, who are fully aware of the expected performance levels of different competitive examinations. The accent is on understanding of subjects, appreciating the finer aspects and effective problem solving
Course Structure
The training schedule is designed to be convenient: during summer vacation and later when the schools reopen, on weekdays/weekends. The total interaction time during the 2-year program is 360 hours.
Aligned to Board Curriculum
Foundation SnT is aligned to the board curriculum. In fact student batches will formed based on central or state boards. This way, students can perform better in school and board examinations
Assessment
Regular tests will be conducted to prepare the students for excellence in school curriculum as well as competitive exams. To excel in school curriculum, there will be 3 practice tests on board examinations pattern in Class X.
Through a unique user ID and password, parents can check the progress to their children at the program.
