JEE since its inception has been regarded wearing. Preparation for JEE is often onerous; one requires a good deal of allegiance to academics for faring well in it. For decades now, several institutions have developed classroom programs and support material to assist students in their pursuit to IITs. The trend, by large in the country is that a student enrolls in a regular college (for 11th and 12th or any equivalent course) as a statutory requirement, while having taken admission for a JEE prep-up course in a reputed institution. A student running a squeezed schedule, and, shuffling between regular college and these training institutes has become conventional. If only, one keenly looks at the ordeal of the children in these two crammed years, will realize the necessity to reform and challenge the conventional ways. We at BASE have been working against the tide in this regard, for five years now. The academic team at BASE with all its expertise and rich academia has successfully developed an integrated learning platform in which a student is trained for JEE seamlessly and, simultaneously with regular college activities. The integrated program is designed to fit in the regular college hours, giving students a lot of time which they can invest in rigorous academic practice. From what we have seen at BASE in last 5 years, this less conventional platform is swiftly capturing the attention of students and parents, and is proving to be sustainable. It for sure is an uphill task to break the monopoly of conventional setups, but we at BASE are resilient and committed to our academia, it is our responsibility to give our students an incubating environment in their forming years.
